ALL around the countryThere are ALL groups around the country - a meeting place for local language teachers and others involved in languages. Open to all members, they offer an opportunity for sharing ideas, voicing opinions on matters of concern and attending events for professional development. View the list of ALL Branches & Networks here. Branches are formally constituted groups which are run by a committee of elected local members. Networks are more informal local groups, often operating in areas where the nearest branch is some distance away. Members may attend events in ANY group. |
New members are allocated to an active ALL group near their home address, but can ask to join a different group if this is more convenient. If you would prefer to be part of a group which is not in your area, please contact us.
ALL is an organisation run by members for members. If there's no ALL group in your area, then why not start one up? That way you get the professional support you're looking for where you want it, when you want it. The ALL office is here to help you get started. Contact us today!
In Scotland members' interests are catered for by the Scottish Association for Language Teaching (SALT), with the annual membership fee conferring joint membership. The Northern Ireland branch serves the interests of members from all parts of Ireland.
If you would like more information about local activities, please see the Events page of this site, the weekly ALLnet message, or contact the ALL office, who will put you in contact with the local representative.
