Committees: a driving force for the Association
Much of the work of ALL is done through special groups, formally constituted and with elected members.
The Language Committees focus on a specific language and organise events and disseminate information for teachers interested in those languages - currently French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, Russian.
Other Language Committees may be created if there is enough demand and members wish to be involved.
The Special Interest Groups focus on broader areas and sectors of language teaching - currently, primary, secondary, adult education, initial teacher education / training and world languages.
The Executive Council meets twice yearly and advises the Association on all policy matters.
The Management Board oversees the management of the Association and ensures the implementation of policy. It is made up of elected members and the Association's Director.
