Executive Council

The Executive Council of ALL meets twice a year and is chaired by the Past President.

Twelve members are nominated from the membership and serve for a period of three years.  Chairs of Language Committees are also members of the Executive Council; the ALL Officers and the Director attend all meetings. 

Observers from other languages subject associations, notably the National Association of Language Advisers (NALA) and the Independent Schools Modern Languages Association (ISMLA) are also invited to send observers to the meeting.
