ALL & FILMCLUB film review competition

ALL Corporate Member FILMCLUB is a network of after-school clubs, offering free weekly access to thousands of classic and popular titles, as well as to film industry news, events and talent. Currently the nationwide scheme has around 145,000 members in over 5000 schools and colleges. For information, or to register for free sign-up, visit: www.filmclub.org.

To coincide with FilmClub’s new Film Journeys seasons ('Children all over the world' & 'Different language, same thrills') and the European Day of Languages, ALL teamed up with FILMCLUB to run a very special competition, open to schools and colleges across the country.

When:

The competition was open from Friday 24th September 2010 to Universal Children’s Day, Saturday 20th November 2010.

Who:

The competition was open to all schools and colleges across the UK.

Prizes:

The winning reviews in each category won a FILMCLUB goodie bag with a t-shirt, mug, pen, pencil case, selection of wristbands and DVDs of foreign language films from the Film Journeys seasons; the winners’ work will be published on the FILMCLUB and the ALL websites.

All students of ALL members will also be entered for the ALL special prize.

- Primary: 50 – 100 wds

- Key Stage 3: 100 – 200 wds

- Key Stage 4: 200 – 300 wds

- Key Stage 5: 300 – 500 wds

- ALL Special Prize: (for ALL members only) any of the above.
