Language World 2010

Language World 2010 took place at the University of York, 26-27 March 2010, and our theme was “Building on Firm Foundations – Steps to Success”. Language World 2010 was all about making sure that language learners and language teachers have firm foundations upon which to build long-term success.

This year’s programme included plenaries, major talks, sessions and workshops from top speakers, trainers and practitioners, and over 50 sessions across the two days of the conference. 2010 was ALL's 20th birthday, so we also had special birthday events at Language World, including a birthday celebration with a glass of bubbly and a birthday cake!
