2. Where can I learn a language in my area?
BLIS Courses, part of CILT’s BLIS Services suite, lists language courses
at all levels in the UK. You can search by language, study mode,
postcode etc. The service is supported by the official learndirect

10. How do I obtain information on studying a language abroad or at
summer school?
There are many companies which organise language courses at summer
schools and you will find various courses by searching the internet.

16. Where can I obtain information on careers using languages?
CILT, the National Centre for Languages has (with funding from DCSF)
developed Languages Work, a campaign to show the true value of languages
in the workplace. Languages Work is also designed to help careers
advisers and teachers to provide guidance on the use of languages at
work and at play. ALL supports Languages Work, which has a a web portal
and a range materials for use by learners and parents, teachers,
lecturers and careers advisers.
