Languages Today Issues
Languages Today Issue 09: Autumn 2011
Issue 9 of Languages Today was out in September 2011.

For this issue, our language focus was on Mandarin: where, how and why it is being learnt in the UK, and what support is available to schools who would like to introduce it. We followed a day in the life of a Mandarin teacher, and heard about new resources available to teach Mandarin.
We also heard from Kingsford School in London about their best 10 techniques for teaching non-Roman script languages; a primary teacher on learning French through sign language; the European Commission on EU opportunities for language teachers and learners, and much, much more!
