Issue 8 of Languages Today was out in May 2011.

The Summer 2011 Issue of Languages Today, the magazine of the Association for Language Learning, was a Film & Media special, and our focus was on Italian.

We found out about using rap in language lessons, followed a day in the life of a bilingual film director, and discovered the potential of short films in the classroom. Alex Blagona gave us his best 10 filmmaking websites, and a host of film and media professionals revealed to us how language skills had changed their lives.
