Due to our expansion, we are looking for professional and qualified translators and interpreters in and around the Devon and Cornwall area to help our clients communicate with their employees, colleagues and clients of their own in foreign languages.

Translators are required to work in a variety of sectors, taking on files such as instruction manuals, press releases, scientific papers and legal and financial documentation. Linguists would ideally have a good working knowledge of and licence to their own CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tool as well as the Microsoft Office suite. In addition to translating documents from one language to another, translators are often asked to proofread, review and edit existing translations and texts.

Interpreters are needed to work closely with English and non-English speakers, interpreting between English and a foreign language. Assignments can take place in a variety of settings, such as solicitors’ offices, schools, residential properties for tenancy appointments, law courts, medical and health centres and company premises for employee meetings. An excellent command of both English and your native/working language is a must, and linguists are expected to be punctual, impartial and professional at all times.
