ALL Portsmouth: Passport to the world: decolonising the curriculum in Primary MFL

Passport to the world: decolonising the curriculum in Primary MFL

The sun may still be reluctant to show itself but a warm welcome awaits you at our next meeting of the ALL Portsmouth Primary Hub. This is most definitely going to be a lively and informative session with languages consultant, Suzi Bewell, who will bring to the meeting lots of ideas about how we can offer our language learners a virtual passport out of lockdown and an opportunity to explore the wider French, Spanish and German speaking world in lessons.

As Suzi contends,

“When teachers and learners explore the beautifully diverse world around them, rich cultural conversations can’t help but happen.”

Come along and allow Suzi to reignite your passion, globalise your curriculum and transform your existing SoW.

Your support has been amazing over this past year. It will be great to see as many of you as possible for this final meeting of the academic year. Please do get in touch if you would like to attend and I will send you the Zoom link. And, as always, please let colleagues know if they fancy joining in too. Everyone is welcome!

Take care, Liz.

Suzi Bewell is a well known languages teacher and trainer.
