MFL Masterclass

The Association for Language Learning is partnering with Star Institute and Newcastle University to offer affordable MFL masterclasses for all current and aspiring language leads in UK secondary schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity to complement and enhance your existing training and be taught by real experts in your field.

The course aligns fully with Early Career Framework objectives and can form part of an ECF programme. Each session will also be relevant to experienced heads of subject and any senior leader who wants to further enhance their understanding of subject specific pedagogy in light of the ECF developments.

There are six, two-hour sessions delivered on Zoom from March-November 2022 the titles of which are below:

04/05/2022 – Vocabulary

23/06/2022 – Speaking

21/09/2022 – Listening

19/10/2022 – Formative Assessment

17/11/2022 – Culture
