The next meeting of PHOrum will take place on Wednesday 6th March 4.00-5.30pm.
There will be two presentations.
Primary French – practical ideas and tips by Miriam Paridjanian
Miriam will share some of her teaching experience and give examples of practical, fun and easy ideas to be used in the primary classroom. Speaking activities, pen pals and the famous Rosendale sac magique; find out how to enliven and revitalise your primary languages class with minimal effort and maximum results.
What’s in a song? by Cara Parkhurst
Going back to basics. Exploring how to motivate learners through songs to support phonics, grammar and cultural awareness whilst encouraging multilingual children to share their home language(s). Exploring purposeful language that can be embedded into the classroom and support more spontaneous language use.
