If one of your resolutions for 2018 is to enrich your career and focus on your professional development, an Association for Language Learning membership could help steer you in the right direction.

As one of our member benefits, ALL runs events across the country. From national events, such as our annual conference Language World, to local networking events run by our Branches, Networks and Hubs, there’s a range of opportunity for engagement and development.

CPD offered by our Branches, Networks and Hubs is tailored to the needs of teachers and is run by teachers, for teachers. Events cover a range of topics which are of interest to language teachers, including focusing on how to develop reading skills through languages, updates on the new curriculum for both GCSE and A-Level  and bringing language teachers together through social media, amongst other talking points.

Additionally, the Association extends the amount of support offered through local events by holding its flagship conference, Language World. The event, which attracts up to 250 delegates a day, offers a packed programme with speakers from across the languages sector. Along with workshops and talks which cover primary, secondary and HE languages topics, Language World also has a variety of exhibitors offering the latest in language learning resources and support. The theme for Language World 2018 is ‘Flying the Flag for Languages’ and promises to offer a packed programme which will enable delegates to network, share ideas, debate topics of interest and leave feeling inspired.

Why not take a look and see what events ALL offers across the country via local Branches, Networks and Hubs? What’s more, why not join the Association today to access these events and take advantage of a range of further benefits too?
