‘Project-based learning’ (PBL), a core feature of the Language Futures approach, refers to students designing, planning, and carrying out an extended project that produces a publicly-exhibited output such as a product, publication, or presentation.

The webinar will provide an opportunity to explore PBL at KS3, how it can enhance pupils’ independence and motivation in regard to MFL GCSE uptake as well as how it can match the grammar-related requirements of the new KS2 curriculum.

It will be led by Pam Levasseur, Key Stage 3 Coordinator for MFL at Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre, who will explain how she has been using PBL in her teaching over the last number of years.
