A live, interactive webinar for ALL members who are Subject Leaders

How can we strengthen recruitment, raise the profile of languages, and energise students about  A level study?

Join us for a lively, one‑hour Zoom session led by ALL Council Member Catherine Ames who is keen to promote the sharing of ideas.

Designed specifically for middle leaders responsible for curriculum, assessment and promotion of A level Languages, this unrecorded session creates a safe, open space for honest discussion and creative problem‑solving.

We’ll explore a wide range of high‑impact ideas, including:

• Whole‑school visibility: assemblies, displays, posters, student voice
• Parent engagement: communication strategies, parent‑evening scripts, course descriptions that truly sell the subject
• In‑class inspiration: authentic materials, Y11 taster activities, case studies of successful linguists
• Student ambassadors: sixth‑formers as role models, in‑class visits, short promotional videos
• Beyond the classroom: trips, visits, work experience, clubs and enrichment that build momentum

 Catherine has a number of suggestions to start the ball rolling.  Then please be ready to share, borrow, adapt and collaborate. This is a practical, energising hour designed to help you champion languages with confidence and creativity, energised by other keen ALL members.
