ALL Yorkshire will again be staging its popular Film Study Day on Friday, 20th March 2026 – Save the Date
Venue: Sheffield Hallam University, City Campus
More information and booking forms will be sent out in January 2026
We are giving you advance notice as this event always books out very quickly and you may want to put in place the necessary procedures in your school now, before the end of term, so you are ready when booking opens.
Bookings will open in January and will be processed in the order we receive the booking forms and pre-payment (or purchase order).

Target groups:
· Y12/13 students studying French / German / Spanish at A-Level.
· high-achieving Y11 students considering A-Level (please note, we are looking to balance the number of KS4/KS5 students and so are only able to accept Y11 students with an equal or greater number of Y12/13s from your school)
Content:
· French: Revoir Paris (2022, cert 15)
· German: Ballon (2018, cert 12A)
· Spanish: Volver (2006, cert 15)
Cost: £ 13 per student
Accompanying teacher(s) are free.
Aim of the event:
· For Y11 students: to offer an introduction to A-Level film study
· For Y12/13 students: to consolidate film study techniques and associated language
· To explore an A-Level cultural topic
· To allow students to immerse themselves in the language for a day
· To allow students to interact with others from another school / year group / key stage
Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Please note that
· your places can not be confirmed until payment or Purchase Order are received.
· we can only accept bookings for Y11 students if matched by an equal number of Y12/13.
