Recitation and other speaking challenges
Anna Lise Gordon will describe the competition called “Poetry Live”, which runs annually at St. Mary’s University Twickenham for Y8s, and showcases their phonics knowledge, memory and performance skills.
Jérôme Nogues will talk about Poésíæ- a different take on recitation in recorded format, and its associated event: Poésíart.
We will invite contributions of other suggestions which give our learners an audience for their spoken (and other) language skills.
