What to make of the Mocks: How mock exam findings can inform your run-up to the actual new GCSE exams
Student performance in the pre-GCSE practice examinations is always important, providing teachers with concrete evidence of strengths and weakness, and signposting the most effective teaching in the lead up to the actual GCSE exam. This is particularly true for the first year of a new specification.
During this STALL, experienced teachers will reflect on the performance of their students in the Y11 practice exams, including the speaking test. Their thoughts and conclusions will be useful for all of us as we prepare for the final stretch.
As always, short presentations will be followed by the chance for more general discussion of the issues.
