Connecting up language learning around the country

ALL has received funding from the Department for Education to provide CPD on the new curriculum for teachers in KS2 and KS3. The ALL Connect project will operate initially in the North East, East Anglia and the North Midlands through local centres – however, training will also be available through ALL’s branches, networks and primary hubs nationwide.

The project will offer free face to face and online training on major themes such as speaking, writing, grammar, transition and progression, but ALL Connect will also be working with ALL’s partner organisations to offer a much wider ‘enhancement’ programme for teachers, allowing them to take control of their professional development, and access a broad range of professional development opportunities and international activities.

This activity is in addition to ALL’s growing network of Primary Hubs, providing local, school-to-school support across the country. Many of these new Hubs are offering training and upskilling courses for primary teachers to get the confidence and the skills that they need – and they will also be able to access this new training.
