The European Language Label is an award for innovative language-learning projects open to all languages. It is funded by the EU Commission and has been running for over 10 years with great success in all EU member states.
In the UK, the Label is managed by CfBT Education Trust on behalf of Ecorys and rewards creative ways to improve the quality of language teaching, motivate learners and make the best of available resources. All language projects from all sectors featuring all foreign languages (excluding EFL) are invited to participate and in the past we’ve had fantastic entries from primary, secondary and adult education organisations, including Universities.
You can read all about the past winners here.
This year, CfBT are delighted to have secured sponsorship from major publishers, cultural institutions, embassies and are very grateful to the British Academy for sponsoring the £2,000 top prize for the 2013 overall winner.
