Uta Smail intends to step down from the editorship of Deutsch: Lehren und Lernen, and we hope to appoint a new editor to work with her on the spring 2011 issue and take over in autumn 2011. Applications for the editorship are now invited.
The main duties of the editor are to secure a balanced menu of good quality articles in each issue, to edit them in accordance with the ALL style guidelines, and to check proofs. The new editor will receive an induction and ongoing support.
