This year, Into film festival will take place from the 4th to the 21st November, giving the opportunity for 5-19 year-olds to take part in activities nationwide and putting film at the heart of young peoples’ learning and cultural experience. Teachers and pupils will be able to experience a wealth of foreign languages and cultures, from French, German, Swedish and Russian to Mandarin and Arabic. Last year over 200,000 young people benefitted from a range of exciting activities. Feedback was impressive, highlighting the impact of this opportunity on pupils’ learning but also on the broad range of activities, workshops and events.
This is a superb opportunity for everyone to get involved and to benefit from the wealth of resources provided; educators will have access to a range of teaching resources, informal film guides and will be able to join in alongside pupils on workshops and presentations. With the aim to make this festival accessible to as many students as possible, the screenings will be held in over 500 cinemas and venues across the UK. All screenings are free.
