ALL Corporate Member, Language Perfect, is based in New Zealand. They weren’t going to attend Language World this year, but having seen what a great programme we have, what a buzz is building around the event, and thinking that it will be a fantastic place to promote their latest competition (the Language Perfect World Championships, 9-16 September 2011) in which ALL is an official partner, they’ve decided to come across the world to join us after all!
And even better, they’ve offered to sponsor some free one day delegate places for heads of department at Language World!
We’ve already made an offer to ALL members, and are now offering some extra bursaries to any head of department or subject leader. So if you’re a head of department or subject leader who have never been to Language World before, here’s your chance to join us!
If you’d like to be considered for one of these places, please send your name, the name of your school, a contact phone number, the day you’d like to attend (Friday 8 or Saturday 9 July) and a sentence or two about why you’d like to come to Language World by email to [email protected], by 9.00 on Wednesday 22 June.
Please note that travel, accommodation and the cost of the Language World dinner are not included in this offer. Winners will be judged on their short statements and will be drawn from a hat if there are too many convincing and needy cases!
