Throughout 2010 Germany, Austria and Switzerland are running a major campaign to encourage young Britons to learn German. The Think German campaign aims to underline the value of German language skills through a number of high-profile events in 2010; and promises that in 2010, you will be able to touch, feel, eat, smell, breathe, hear, talk and maybe even think German! Think German will be organising a number of high-profile events that give you the opportunity to experience firsthand why German is a crucial choice as a foreign language. Knowledge of German opens doors to business, academia and a rich and colourful cultural heritage – art, literature, music, creative industries, design, fashion, architecture and much more.
