The next PHOrum meeting for ALL members is online on Thursday 4th June 2026 at 4pm.
4.00 – 4.15pm – Networking
A chance to meet and chat with other primary languages teachers.
4.15 – 4.30pm – Primary Languages Roadshow – Steven Fawkes – Co-President of ALL
News and updates from the world of primary languages.
In addition to the Primary Languages Roadshow from Steven Fawkes, there will be 2 presentations:
4.30 – 5.00pm – Ellie Baker – Bringing languages alive with music
Learn how to build an engaging language lesson around a single song using a simple, repeatable framework. This interactive session shows how to link vocabulary, phonics, and activities into one immersive experience. A low-prep approach that supports all four skills while boosting engagement through rhythm, movement, and play. Includes ready-to-use resources for immediate classroom use.
5.00 – 5.30pm – Nieves Sadullah – Enriching the primary languages curriculum through creative, cross-curricular projects
Spanish enrichment club is a very popular at Nieves’s school. The cross-curricular projects could also be used as creative activities in class or theme days. She will share some of her favourites (there are so many!) that have inspired a love of languages for example through art, poetry, las Fallas, board games, music, history, geography, dance and dragons!
