Please find below details of our next Hub meeting, which will be taking place on Thursday 15th February from 4.14pm – 5.15pm. The focus for the session will be Celebrating Culture: weaving cultural discovery and international partnerships in primary language learning and will take place online, via Teams.

Session Overview:
Few would argue that culture and language are almost inseparable, but how can we as teachers enable our primary learners to engage with the cultural complexities of the French, Spanish and German-speaking worlds in ways which are meaningful to them? Packed full of inspiration for classroom projects, units of work, resources and sources of support, ready to take straight back to the classroom, this session will empower teachers to find exciting and innovative ways to weave intercultural understanding through their existing schemes of work, giving pupils new opportunities to develop as language learners and global citizens.
