Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
This year, the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival (ESFF) will take part in the Festival of Europe Scotland, with the support of the Consulate General of Spain in Edinburgh.
As part of the programme, ESFF will present a curated selection of films, as well as a Spanish short film within Europe Day, a showcase event bringing together contributions from different European countries.

Europe Day – Comedy Short Films from France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Romania and Spain
ESFF will present Democracia, by Borja Cobeaga, a fictional exploration of how democratic principles collide with the pressures of a highly competitive workplace.

🇪🇺 European Language Day in Glasgow
Join us on Saturday 9th May for European Language Day at the Alliance Française Glasgow.
The programme will include a language speak-dating session featuring French, German, Italian, Polish, Scots, Scottish Gaelic and Spanish.
- 2:00-4:00pm: Language speak-dating and taster sessions
- 4:00-5:00pm: European culture quiz
A great opportunity to enjoy languages and culture in a friendly, informal setting.
